Kamran Moattar practices real estate law, with an emphasis on commercial transactions. This practice includes multiproperty portfolio acquisitions and sales on a national level, as well as construction, conventional, high-leveraged and mezzanine financing. Kamran has significant experience representing clients in single-tenant, net-leased property transactions, ground lease arrangements, sale-leasebacks and tax-efficient tenancy-in-common structures. Recent transactions include acquisition and leaseback of 31 bank branches in five states, and fee and leasehold acquisition and leaseback of eight department stores in the Northeast. Kamran also represents clients in partnership agreements, joint ventures and development transactions all over the United States, and, recently, in development projects in Panama and the Bahamas. He has been with Goldfarb & Fleece since 1994 and became a partner in 2001.

Kamran has been an adjunct associate professor in the finance, law and taxation division of New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He is a member of the real property division of the New York State Bar Association. Kamran has been awarded a rating of AV Preeminent (the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards) by Martindale-Hubbell.
