Practice Areas:

Kamran Moattar practices real estate law with an emphasis on commercial transactions. This practice includes multi-property portfolio acquisitions and sales on a national level, as well as construction, conventional, high-leveraged and mezzanine financing. Kamran has significant experience representing clients in single-tenant net-leased property transactions, ground lease arrangements, sale-leasebacks, and tax-efficient tenancy-in-common structures. Recent transactions include acquisition and lease-back of 31 bank branches in five states, and fee and leasehold acquisition and lease-back of 8 department stores in the Northeast. Kamran also represents clients in partnership agreements, joint ventures and development transactions all over the United States, and, recently, in development projects in Panama and the Bahamas. He has been with Goldfarb & Fleece LLP since 1994, and became a partner in 2001.

Kamran has been an adjunct associate professor in the Finance, Law and Taxation Division of New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He is a member of the Real Property Division of the New York State Bar Association. Kamran has been awarded a rating of AV® Preeminent® (the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards) by Martindale®.
